2026 Scholarship Application

Eligibility for Scholarship:

Student must be a permanent resident of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and must be a college bound high school senior

Application to Include:

  • Completed application form
  • Letter of acceptance from the college the student will be attending
  • Three letters of recommendation: one from the guidance counselor of their high school and two others      
        from a person not related to the applicant by blood or marriage
  • Five hundred WORD ESSAY.
  • Deadline 5/25/2026

Essays will be judged on: originality, creativity, grammar and spelling.

A scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00 is awarded to each of the two successful candidates. The successful candidates will be notified before June 5th. Awards will be presented at the St. Thomas Board of REALTORS® General Meeting.

Tourism drives the Virgin Islands economy, yet many residents feel excluded from its benefits. How can tourism on Virgin Islands be redesigned so that it creates stronger career pathways, supports local ownership, and protects quality of life for residents?
