ARTICLE XI\, Section 4\, states that "the nominating committee shall select one candidate for each office and one candidate for each place to be filled on the Board of Directors. The report of the nominating committee shall be mailed to each REALTOR Member at least three weeks preceding the election. Additional candidates for the offices to be filled may be placed in nomination by petition signed by at least twenty percent of the REALTOR Members before the election. The election of Officers and Directors shall take place at the general membership meeting in June of the Association. Election shall be by ballot. An official absentee ballot will be accepted to be cast at the general meeting for the election of Officers and Directors. An official absentee ballot shall be: (a) filed in person with the Secretary who is to certify the count of ballots received by each member/or (b) a notarized ballot received by the Secretary prior to the election of Officers and directors. A facsimile shall be accepted" Note: For uncontested elections if the Nominating Committee nominations are the only proper nominations made\, no ballots or other related materials shall be printed\, or mailed.
